Leonardo Caduff
My name is Leonardo, I was born on February 12, 1985 and I have an agricultural background. Since I was a child I have frequented urban landfills, collecting various objects. I spent days observing and comparing the characteristics of the objects collected, putting them together according to criteria that escaped me. I began to appreciate its intrinsic beauty even though they had now lost the function for which they were conceived. Over time, a spontaneous impulse to transform the object has grown in me. In nature, in art we find a unique non-reproducible beauty that fascinates us, but then why do we continue to produce objects that become waste? I feel this work of transformation is necessary because the old, useless object, the repeated waste, is what can communicate the uniqueness that man has sought in the opposite direction and make the two converge.
